Neither one of them are really that great, but they're both the beers of choice usually for a kid "breaking themselves into" beer. I'd suggest some locally brewed beers. Good old fashioned beer will have lots of hops in it, something you don't see much nowadays.

No, way.  I mean both companies make a decent brew, but Miller has two of the best beers on the planet (Miller High Life and MGD).  If push comes to shove just remember that Anheuser Busch just got sold to some company in Belgium.

When I drink domestics I go for Bud products.  Good taste and until this week it was American owned.

As your palatte gets adapted try moving into Labatts, or Sam Adams.  Dog Fish head ale will give you a kick.

well taste wise to me..they are pretty close...but miller light is better for you in the sense that it onoly has 96 calories and less carbs....but if you dont care then either one is good...ive heard a lot more people side with bud tho if your not goin with the light versions

You are comparing the 2 worst beers on the market. Expand your palate try something new. Pale ale, Lager, Strawberry blond, anything. Cheap does not equal delicious.

The funniest thing about the answers on this bolg is the ever stratified peeking order of beer aficionados. While I agree both beers are lacking any substance someone inevitable a Corona or Heineken fan will blast them. Then comes about the craft beer drinker knocking all those beers for lack of any serious substance. Of course the hybrid beer drinker (cross-over) covers beers from adjoining beer classes. Finally the king of beers snobs come with their Belgian beer rants. It really is quite humorous.

bud is stronger in taste as miller is more mellow, it all depends on the individual which is better. I would prefer something more mellow as my boyfriend prefers something more stronger.
