Is building a website a good senior project?

I'm planning on making a website for my senior project but the thing is I have no idea where to start and what my research paper would be about. Does anyone know what i can research with this topic, what can i do to start it, or is this even a good topic to choose for a senior project?

It sounds like a great idea.  I think your paper would just be on the process of creating the website.  Finding a name and host, learning code, learning to edit/update, etc.  You could do the website on an interest of yours or make it school related.  Maybe updates on your  school sports, clubs, drama dept. etc.  It sounds like a great idea tho.

You could just research the entire process, including learning code, establishing a domain name, etc.

I think it's a brilliant idea.
