That depends, do you own this Koran? The same applies to burning bibles or flags for that matter. It is only an issue if it doesn't belong to you.

I know it's okay to c**p all over the American flag, but I do think the democratic controlled congress along with the socialist stooge Obama would definitely pass a law making the burning of the koran illegal. all in the name of appeasing our enemies, of course

Some nut job prosecutor can charge you with a hate crime if he wishes.  But you would have to be white.  Hate crimes and hate speech are not spelled out so you can be charged for anything you do under these ridicules laws.
