Is buying a ticket to america cheaper buying 2 way or 1 way?

more specifically, im flying to america (Atlanta, Georgia) next year from England, would it be cheaper to pay for a 1 way or a return ticket ?

return ticket is always the cheaper.. how ever, if you plan to have like 6month apart tickets.. nope, usually they wont allowed you.. return ticket only between a month.. or so..
