I think that buying both an oil and a coal mine would be excellent.

Yes, because whatever happens to the crude in the world refineries will have a good future till we have a good substitute for Oil.

With the tight margins for refiners lately and the accompanying drop in price, it may be a good time to buy a refinery. But with what Obama has in mind for anybody in the oil business (whether it be production or refining) it might be a risky investment.
