  1. Yes, it will cost extra.  How much extra depends on your wireless provider, and your service agreement with them.  FYI, you don't need to use a country code or anything, just dial "1", then the area code, then the 7 digit #.


  2. yes it will for the call (long distance charges) but text should be same cost as a text in florida
