I can't find any info about it on seafood watch. I mean the chicken of the sea, etc. tuna. I don't know what species it is typically.

  1. NO

  2. NO. Just make sure you spit out the pieces of dolphin. They get caught in the nets and canned with the tune.

  3. the fisheries that fish tuna usually get it in big amounts which they could capture many different organism of the sea. But if you can fish or own fish it would be better but overall everyone got to buy what they need.....

  4. If you dont recycle the can, it is.

  5. Which do you think is worse?  Tuna that is caught, canned, and sold with little waste, or "fresh" fish that is thrown away by the millions of pounds because it is no longer "fresh", been frozen, or spoils due to lack of sale?

Canned tuna saves much of the fish that someone might not buy just because it has a discoloration on the skin and is not as "pretty" as the one next to it.  People are too spoiled and want "only" the best one on the grocery shelf, yet if they grew some of the vegetables in their own garden that they pass on everyday, they would eat many of those "rejects"
