  1. Well Ding Dong I'm Spartacus 2, back to bartering will be the answer and having to defend your space with violence. Apparently yellow stone park is gonna blow, meteors are destined and of course we have global warming and terrorism. So it is all a matter of time. Some will gather what others have planted etc...  Nature will win though, bless 'er.

  2. Don't know about Gordon Brown. Tony Blair; definitelly - nothing other, than, a glib-tongued 'lizard'; not in the same league as Sir Winston, or, Mrs Thatcher. How could the people of England allow themselves to be taken in by moronic words such as "multiculturism", "asylum seeker", and, a Treaty fit for the dustbin (the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.) As for "capitalism" - my own thoughts in relation to such a sickening expression, are as follows: Communism (in its truest form) stands for pure Christianity: ('I eat; my neighbour eats.') Come to think of it; you only need one table to eat off, one chair to sit on, one bed to sleep in, and, one toilet to s--t into. There are massive 'changes' on the way. For the better. Thanx for your 'no frills' question.

  3. Capitalism is the only logical option that we have at the moment. It may not be fair, but neither really have any communist states or socialists states. Some might argue that it is unfair, to take from the hard working and give it to the lazy...hmmm

Capitalism has the opportunity for ANYBODY to get to the top of the ladder. So if you want it, you can have it.

Besides, capitalism is going through one of it' cycles. It is called a "slow down", it is not a total relapse of all markets hahaha.

  4. There has been a form of capitalism since the dawn of time because basically "man" is ambitious and greedy.  When other systems are introduced someone always creeps out of the woodwork to dictate whatever their creed at that time may be and promptly lines his/her pockets with gold at the expense of the little people.

Blair has proved himself to be duplicitous not only in politics but in his religion as well.  No sooner has he stepped down from being the UK Prime Minister than he turns catholic and then unbelievably this man takes the position of a Peace Envoy in the Middle East.  As for Mr. Brown, he means well but just does not cut the mustard and this has cost the British tax payer dearly.

  5. Capitalism will always survive in some form or another, it is simply the way human society always turns.

If the entire infrastructure of human society were to collapse tomorrow, from huge natural disaster or some other sort of apocalypse, the first thing the survivors would do, is find stuff to trade with, and start fighting over abandoned shopping malls because those with the most to trade would be the ones with the most power.  That is one of the back-bones of human society, ever since we've been able to produce anything worth having:)

  6. The form of socialism that you see in europe will replace Capitalism.  It is already performing much better than our form of capitalism both fiscally and in quality of life style.

  7. Socialism. But you are right. After all that gloating about communism, its our turn to go belly up. enjoy the ride.

Edit: There may be a few Chinese wanting Capitalism but thats because they have been watching too many American films. After they live the"dream"  and suffered like us, they will soon change their minds like the Russians have.

  8. AS Winston Churchill said "I can't imagine any system of government worse than Democracy, but it's the best we've got."

The problem is under Bush free Capitalism and Democracy is exactly what HASN'T been happeneing.  It's become a form of soft fascism, where the captains of industry and the military make the decisions for everybody, and pressure politicians into agreeing with them.

The US needs a balanced budget!!!  That will not happen with the current clowns and carpet-baggers in office.

  9. No, it is socialism that that has collapsed almost world wide,

It never was a viable economic system. Even in socialist countries, after a period of chaos, poverty and starvation, have a form of state controlled capitalism was introduced to stabilise the system.

In Soviet times the income differential between the manual worker and the chief executive of a corporation or institution was about the same as in America.

Ironically, it is the trade unions that have helped to  make capitalism a beneficial system. Increased wages, overtime, sick pay, pensions, employment protection laws etc have made most workers in the developed capitalist nations much better off than their equivalent in socialist countries.

Many left wingers still criticise UK and USA for their involvement in slavery which stopped almost 200 years ago, yet completely ignore the fact that slavery exists up to modern times in socialist countries where slave labour camps are used as a form of political intimidation. I know this because a Russian friend of mine was born and brought up in one.

In short, the capitalist system should, and will, survive because, despite its many faults, it is still less brutal oppressive and exploitative than the socialist system

  10. Perhaps we should look to the likes of sweden where a combination of liberal free market and social democracy seem to work in harmony. Have you ever noticed those who support capitalism are those who are sucessful

  11. In the US, if Obama has his way, socialism will replace capitalism.  Capitalism will win.

  12. No, it isn't.  I hate to disappoint you Communists and liberals but humanity has some good years left.

  13. yes and i imagen who ever has them most guns i will be called the united hoods of compton yeeeeea yeea

  14. Ask a single woman if she has a boyfriend.

    Repeat it on Valentine's Day.

    Then ask your question again.

  15. I thought we lived in a democracy? `Capitalism` is just another part of it.

A political system cannot be `imposed` on people  - take notice of history  .... it may work for a while (a long while in some cases) but if it is unjust or unfair it will finally crumble from within.

The trouble with people is that we all want different things, and we all behave in different ways.  Some are spenders, some are savers. Some are quiet while others just want fun. Some are brutal and control freaks, while others are kind and benign. Some are desperate.  There is nothing wrong with this, it is natural: but a political system has to recognise this truth, and try to cater for all these myriad tastes (except the bullies and  the evil of course).

  16. I don't think it's on its last legs but I believe in having a balance between socialism and capitalism. That's because unbridled capitalism leads to conditions like what is seen in Mexico and many other poor countries, where there is a huge gap between the rich and poor and practically nothing in between.

  17. Communism and socialism have been proven over and over again not to work. People will not work for the common good because they are motivated by their own self interest.

In capitalism, everyone can make or lose a fortune depending on the choices they make. You decide your own future. The only reason it would fail is if the government intervenes too much.

  18. Dude even the Chinese are embracing a form of capitalism?

1 billion capitalists coming to your world soon!!

    **Even bullies can be captitalists!!

and no I will not get real this is YA.

  19. Capitalism wouldn't exist without corporate welfare and subsides in one form or another.

  20. People act out of self interest..Without incentive and reward people dont work much..Every Revolution the new order replacing the old one, becomes a privileged ruling group.   We need a bit of wealth distribution just a bit would help..Our rulers no longer care and most the people, trusting blindly in this criminal system, will find themselves badly let down.Capitalism is environmentally unfreindly..

  21. it will never happen, Capitalist ruling classes wont allow it, simple as that

  22. all living things try to use the least amount of energy to attain the greatest gain...it's called efficiency...same with a free market or communist market, efficiency is the goal...you can't go against natures hard wiring of all living things,so any market or way of doing things that tries to go against the tide will always fail...capitalism will exist with mabey a more earth friendly and greater emphasis on other pursuits other than just material gain.

  23. when you get your anarchy, all civilized persons will swing on  your rope.

  24. The lazy are going to vote Socialism in soon sadly

  25. How about  replacing with sanity

  26. Capitalism isn't going to die, this has all happened before and it has nothing to do with politics. Anybody who has studied economics understands the boom and bust system western economies follow.we will hit a recession and then maybe a depression but it will go back up again - like it always does.

This has more to do with interest rates than socialism you morons.

  27. Capitalism will never die my friend. It's existed since time began, before they thought of that catchy name. I believe tradesmen are mentioned in the bible...the Vikings, also, not really that socialistic in either manner or deed.

Socialism has it's place, but neither a completely capitalist nor a completely socialist government can stand for too long. They need each other. France is a pretty good example of a modern socialist country - and they are going bankrupt. The two systems need each other.

Most modern, democratically run countries balance the two. The US and the UK both have some socialist facets as well as the capitalist ones that we all know of.

Oh, and rich politically powerful men hardly ever hang. That is what scapegoats are for.

  28. What is causing the Delcine is to much government intervention in the free market. Its on it last legs because the government is trying to mix to much socialism into it. Government bail outs, subsidies, and the welfare state are killing it.

  29. I don't think Capitalism is on its last legs, the Chinese are practically running after it, but we could do with another Isam as one or the other in its extreme form for is a bad thing, the Americans completely freak out if you mention socialism, Obama who is pledging change and having a fairer society is being branded by his opposition and the ignorant as a socialist, the reality (if he gets in) will be nothing like it.

Blair and Brown are the slimiest politicians, not because of their time in office or what they have or haven't done, the fact that they turned their back on everything they origonally believed in order to get elected and then claimed that the years of prosperity that the UK has enjoyed was down to their policies when it was Conservative economic policy that laid the foundation for them makes me sick.

As someone else said there needs to be a balance of both ideals, socialism or communism is counter productive as no one wants to work their **** off for virtually nothing while some t**t sits at home because he has got ten kids and gets the same, hence no incentive to work harder / lack of progress in general ( France is the most recent perfect example.

Capitalism is very productive but doesn't want to know and doesn't care about the people at the bottom, it forges ahead gobbling all it can until the bubble bursts, hence recession / revolution.

    What about I'magreedybastardbutnotalwaysism!!!

  30. I feel we will end up with the convergence theory. This would have mostly capitalistic policy with some socialistic policies.

  31. I hope so!  Unfortunately, it will take a major disaster or financial collapse. If there was no more corrupt government, we would most likely have a village-type system.  Each small area would take care of itself and eventually trade or work with near-by villages.  Sorta like the smurfs..  it would look like communism minus the evil dictators!
