  1. No.

Carbon dioxide is considered a greenhouse gas, but it isn't the ONLY greenhouse gas.  Methane and carbon monoxide are among the others.

  2. There are different greenhouse gases: carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ...

Carbon (dioxide) is not exactly the same as greenhouse gas, it is just an example of a greenhouse gas.

  3. No, although you hear them used as if they were interchangeable.

"Carbon emissions" refers to carbon compounds emitted into the atmosphere as a gas; generally carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide (which eventually is oxidized to carbon dioxide).  These are the greenhouse gasses most often produced by human activity.

"Greenhouse gasses" are any gasses that trap the heat from sunlight by letting light through to the ground, but blocking the resulting infrared radiation (heat) from escaping back through the atmosphere.

Water vapor (from evaporation of rain, oceans, lakes, plants)and methane (from animal flatulence, coal mines, swamp out-gassing, manure, compost, garbage in landfills), are common green house gasses also.

The greatest source of greenhouse gasses is volcanoes, after that, rotting vegetation. People come in third. Burning vegetation is also a real common source since Brazil decided to keep torching the rain forest. Cows are a huge source of methane, and because burned rain forest is usually converted to beef farming, it's a double whammy.

China now produces more greenhouse gasses than any other country,  because it is so big and has almost no clean energy sources.

  4. There are a few different kinds of green house gasses, CO2 is just one of the most major ones.

  5. CO2 is emitted by us, and it is a greenhouse gas. But, our emissions only account for less than 1% of all the greenhouse gases. Water vapor (which Global Warming Advocates rarely mention) makes up any where from 60 to 95% of all the greenhouse gases. CO2, methane and a few others makes up the rest. This is why man made global warming is so ridiculous. Our contribution to greenhouse gases is so small it is not a factor in weather.

  6. God  has it all set in stone so please just be a good human being and a good AMerican and look out for each other! THe planet is not yours to F with sister! Bake a cake and support your country everything else is out of your hands !

  7. Greenhouse gases include any heat absorbing/trapping gas in the atmosphere. It includes water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone. Human activiity has no effect on water vapor BUT we are emitting large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions by the burning of fossil fuels for energy. The levels of CO2 in the atmosphere have not been as high as they are now for the past 650,000 years (as far back as scientists can record through studying the air bubbles trapped in the ice sheets). 82% of those human caused greenhouse gas emissions is CO2. Methane makes up  9% and Nitrous Oxide makes up 5%. Scientists project that we need to cut our greenhouse gas emissions by 2% every year for the next 40 years in order to avoid the most serious consequences of global warming.
