Libery is bigger and newer....and cruisecritic.com is the best site....lol...they are actually a site where you can check out info on cruise lines and specific ships...also have a rool call section for each particular ship...have fun

Carnival Liberty:  110,000GRT

Majesty of the Seas:  74,000

by the way, cruise clues is probably the best site on the 'net for information on cruise ships.  And NO, it is not my site.

Yes,  the Liberty is a new mega ship that is about 130,000 tons.  The MOS is an older ship which is about 70-75,000 tons.  The state rooms on the LIberty are bigger as is just about every thing else.
