Is cat's spit poisonous?

Someone told me that if a cat bites like a bird of mice and the animal is still living, then their gonna die anyway because cats spit is poison to them, but not to humans. I don't believe this but I just want to know for sure.

Most cats play around with those animals for a while before they kill them.  When they do, they break the neck.

I had a cat that brought a mouse into the house once, and played with it for hourse before I caught the poor thing and let it free.

Ah, no way, don't believe it... Cats do know where to bite to injure and mame so the bird or mouse may not live due to the bite placement.. DON'T BELIEVE CATS CAN DO THIS!

cat spit is not poisonous.  The small animals usually die from trauma, being pounced. swated, or played with before being bitten

The only issue from a cat bite is disease.  Some carry Bartonella, a bacterial infection that has little effect on the cat that has it, but can cause the loss of the limb they bite in humans or other creatures.
