Is cedar point packed with people on labor day ?

Cedar Point and almost all other amusement parks are usually packed on holidays.

Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends for Cedar Point, so you can expect very large crowds and the park to be very busy.  If I was you, I would wait to go another weekend, but the weekends in the fall are sometimes busier than what they are during the summer, so it may not make a difference anymore when you go.  If you go Monday (which is probably the best day to go out of the whole weekend), I would not expect to ride all that much and if you really want to ride the popular rides (Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Maverick), I would be at the park before it opens and run to those rides in the morning, otherwise the lines are going to be extremely long as the day goes on. Another thing to take into consideration, the traffic to get to Cedar Point is going to be horrendous. I work in Sandusky and the traffic gets a lot worse Labor Day and the weekends following in September and October. I think the park is busier those weekends in those two months than the majority of the summer. To prepare yourself, don't expect to ride much and hopefully you will be able to ride more than what you expected to make you feel better!!

Yes it will be packed.  Cedar point is packed almost everyday.  I haven't been there in a long time, but I assume there's some fast pass service which I advise you buy.

I go every single Labor Day, and the longest ride line I have encountered is 1 1/2 hours for Top Thrill Dragster. It's not NEARLY as crowded as the summer. It's a very nice weekend to go, unless it's too cold. Then it's no fun.
