Is ceramic / porcelain tile considered ' clean fill ' ?

I would like to stop taking ceramic ' scraps ' and tearout debris to the local landfill, and dump it at a clean fill site, but don't want to dump illegally either.

The tile and clear glaze probably are but I'm not sure about the compounds in the tinted glaze and in the glue.  If it is demolition debris it isn't just the ceramic/porcelain tile you are throwing out.

Good question.  I'd like to know the answer to this one myself.
