I sometimes complain about breakouts then my mom highly recommend using cetaphil because it will not make my face dry. Will it help get rid of breakouts?

  1. I have used cetaphil and it helped to clear up some of my minor acne.  My dermatologist gave me cetaphil and a gel called differin to try to clear up my face.  Problem is the differin dried out my face like crazy.  I just use cetaphil for my face now and it seems to be working alright.

  2. i use cetaphil, i like it.

the only two face cleaners i'll ever use are cetaphil and proactive, and i have nice skin... now :)

  3. it won't clear up your skin [there's nothing like salicylic acid or anything in it] but it will help because it's soap-free.

  4. Its ok, but I am not a fan of some of their ingredients. The best I have ever used is Pangea Organics' Cleanser - Egyptian Caledula with Blood Orange.

  5. it will not ultimately get rid of breakouts but it will prevent irration and keep pores clean-cetaphil's a great brand for breakout-prone skin

  6. Its basically soap but I like it because it doesn't feel overly dry or overly greasy, just nice and light and clean. For light breakouts it should be OK, just remember to PAT your face dry with a clean cloth and use a light facial moisturizer with SPF to help balance out hydration and control breakouts even more.

  7. yes! i love it.
