Is cheapoair.com a legitimate place to buy your plane tickets??

Never have used it. I have found though that sometimes the airline web-site is less expensive than the travel web-sites. Search the airlines, like Continential, South West Airlines, etc.

Beware of the taxes and added expenses that they don't show in the "show" price...cheapoair.com is not bad exactly but you would be better to go with the straight airline...better safe than sorry

I did use them once and had no trouble at all, (but I never had to use their customer support or anything) and if I remember correctly, they quote prices without all the taxes and surcharges added in, so make sure you go past the initial search screen to get an accurate price.
