Is cheerleading the right sport for me?

I have aways wanted to be in cheerleading, i love the cheers, i am skinny, i have alot of friends...you know.

But the problem is that i am really shy. And I was wondering if it would help me get un-shy.

I was hoping it would...

  1. try making friends and join school clubs.Or start gymnastics to learn the flips and stuff.But seriously, while your there make friends so your not that shy to be infront of people because youll know most of the parents that you metfrom the other girls. So have fun cheerleading!               ur bud jess:)                                 P.S.   I was a cheerleader myself its fun!


  2. Being skinny has nothing to do with being a cheerleader. All of my teammates (except for flyers) are average sized people. I actually find that the skinnier the bases are the weaker. I hope you want to be a cheerleader for the right reasons and if you are then go for it! Just work hard and build up your strenght... also practice in front of people to get over your shyness! Good luck!

  3. i am pretty shy but i started doing cheerleading and once ur around all the rest of the realing outgoing energetic girls on ur team u just kinda like start getting like that too. its kinda wierd lol. and yeah it will probly help u get a little less shy cause it did for me.

  4. i guess you can always try out, and if u stretche every morning, u'll be able to do all the flips and stuff
