    I would suggest avoiding dairy completely, we weren't meant to eat it & we can get calcium from other things, such as orange juice and soy milk.

  7. In moderation, very good and tasty too. Full of calcium and vitamins. Cottage cheese is very low in fat. Mascarpone, Cheddar, Roquefort, Crottin de Chavignol, Mimolette, Gouda, Edam, Gorgonzola, Parmigiano, Emmenthal, Gruyere, Boursin, Ricotta, Stilton, Philadelphia Cream cheese, Tasmanian King Island, Red Leicester, Jarlsberg....I love them all!!Enjoy! {:-)

    i suggest if you want to go vegan try soy cheese. it is also yummy.

No, not really.  It's usually high in fat in calories.  The only benefits of any kind of cheese are calcium from all cheeses and magnesium from mozzarella cheese.  Besides, you can find good tasting, healthier soy cheeses.  For example, Teese is one soy cheese that is supposedly really good.  Visit http://teesecheese.com/ for more info.

  14. Cheese is not a healthy choice.  You can get calcium other places.  If you like cheese, then eat it in moderation.  If you can live without it that's probably better.

    Be careful to check the ingredients of the cheese.  If it contains renit it is not vegetarian. Renit is made from the stomach of baby veal calves.

  15. As long as it is a low fat variety you will not have problems.

    Too much of the high fat varieties contribute toward obesity.
