chess is NOT a racist game... it is  a WAR GAME designed to teach a person to use strategies to defeat an enemy or opponent. what is sickening is that a racist like you talking out your back side. my next door neighbor has a chess set that uses CLEAR & FOGGY white colors. are you going to say that the maker of that board is a WHITE SUPREMEST?

I suppose next you are going to claim that a deck of cards is racist as well because all of the cards are either BLACK or RED... BLACK meaning people of dark skin, RED meaning NATIVE AMERICANS. therefore poker, rummy cribbage, etc. are all BLACK vs.INDIAN racial games.

it sounds to me as if you are the true racist. it also sounds to me like you are full of HATRED towards another race.  that my friend makes YOU the worst kind of RACIST... an uneducated one!!!

you should try focusing on tolerance & respect. remember the "law of attraction" what you focus on you will draw to you. which simply means that if you are always focusing on anger & hatred you will continue to draw angry & hateful people into your life.

if you focus on love & respect you will draw to you people who will love & respect you.

No.  Chess is just a wargame; the colors are to distinguish the units of the two opposing armies.  It has nothing to to with race.

The black vs white thing was initially because white and black are cheapest to make, and something like pink vs blue would be confusing. but as white moves first, I think there is an element of racism. Depends on how you look at it really.
