Is chewing gum suitable for me- a vegetarian?

I have just become a vegetarian(new years day) and i was wondering if i could have chewing gum.

stride doesn't contain gelatin as far as i know

I'm not too sure, i know that hubba bubba is safe, but i heard that juicy fruit has whale blubber and that something in the gum base is not vegetarian... so i don't know

i just don't eat it, except hubba bubba, because it's made with rubber.

I am pretty sure any Wrigley gum is ok. This includes Orbit.

Most others have gelatin.
