  1. Asian food can be ANY asian country. Chinese food is just one asian country. The foods from each area are all quite different.

  2. well i think the that Chinese food would be under Asian food becuz Asian food can be Indian Pakistani japense etc...

  3. Nope, asian food is from the whole asian area...not only chinese but currys are asian too... and more!

  4. technically. You see. There are many branched of Asian foods, as there are ethnic groups in Asia. Some groups of food use lots of curry. Some use lots of Chili paste. It all depends.

  5. "Chinese food" is specific, Asian is the broader term. It might include Indonesian, Indian, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.

  6. Asian food is from Asia. Chinese food is very different than Japanese food, for example. It's like saying that Mexican food is the same as North American food.

  7. Asia

The world's largest continent. It occupies the eastern part of the Eurasian landmass and its adjacent islands and is separated from Europe by the Ural Mountains

    You make sense of this

    China People's Republic of

A country of eastern Asia. Its ancient civilization traditionally dates to c. 2700 b.c.. After a bitter civil war (1946-1949) a people's republic led by Mao Zedong was established on the mainland, and the Nationalists fled to Taiwan. Beijing is the capital and Shanghai the largest city. Population: 1,280,000,000

It makes NO sense to ask this ..All food is there....

  8. no ,there are many different types of foods in asia. technically russian, and indian foods are asian also.

  9. theres not really anything called 'chinese food'

china has several regions each with their very own (and unique) cuisine. for example.

There is the Canoton Province in the south, where traditional foods, are mostly fish, and vegetables. sweet dishes with fruit. but not at all spicy dishes.

There is the Beijing area, where a lot of china's fried dishes have their origins. Think for example of Peking duck, but also chicken nuggets (or atleast the chinese version of them. (chui yim kai))

shanghai Again also has a lot of fish dishes. then there is the Szechuan kitchen, which spans multiple provinces of the west. up againt nepal and mongolia. These dishes are usually quite sharp, and spicy.

and thats just china alone. Asia itself has many many many many more varieties of cuisines, that are all very unique. Japanese (lots of fish), Korean (live squids, dog meat, and fish) but also indian, with its many spicy curries. or indonesian, with a lot of coconut, and spicy dishes.

and tehcnically speaking, you could count the arabian peninsula as asia. which would mean dishes like cous-cous also belong under the devision of 'asian cuisine'

  10. No. China is PART OF Asia.

Asian comprises more than Chinese. There is a variety of cooking styles and tastes and based ingredients. South East Asian cuisine is more aromatic than Chinese and Indian _ which is also ASIAN - is even more aromatic and tend to be extreme in taste and smell even more so. Locality and climate also influence the type of taste and ingredients used.

Ever try Thai, Burmese or Indian food? These are totally different to Chinese food.

  11. It also includes any foods from Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and SE asia.  And they use many fermented flavorings, ginger, soy, and several exotic vegetables.

  12. Yes most of it is asian food. Good Luck!

  13. No because asia spans from India (spicy, fairly vegetarian meals) toJapan, with Sushi etc., and Chinese food is mild (sometimes hot depending on the region).

So in Asia the types of food do range a lot.
