Is cigalert.com accurate?

Question

Is the web site cigalert.com that gives you traffic information accurate? Is it in real time? If not how long is the delay?

I am trying to get around in San Diego county and in some areas the traffic is at a stand still. (Which I obviously want to avoid.)

I need the most reliable as close to real time traffic information I can get.

your local news station should have a link for the traffic patterns

sigalert.com is pretty accurate, but all reporting is typically delayed 15 minutes between the time the data is collected ad the time the information appears on a website.

chp.ca.gov is a good site for accident info and delays, but not flow of traffic or mph on the roads.

Google maps now has a traffic overlay, too!
