  1. Yes. There are people in India who are referred to as the 'untouchables'

These are the people of the lowest Indian class.

They are avoided and discriminated against by people of higher Indian classes.

  2. it was there long before ,and in current situation in cities people strated forgeting it but goverment policy and politician still keep's it alive

  3. is was a long time back... not anymore

  4. Yes Two hundred year's ago the class differences were strictly followed in our Country by all Religions and communities.. But its all changed now due to strict enforcement of laws against discrimination. Special reservations are made for the oppressed class in education, employment and Legislatures and Parliament. People from Scheduled Castes have occupied highest posts like President, Speaker, Governors, Ministers and other places of honour. The present Chief Justice of Supreme Court belongs to such class. It is a Social change that takes time and  such differences are there in all Countries.

  5. Yes.  Though the class discrimination has reduced considerably atg prese4nt, the present generation is paying the price for the class discrimination followed by their fore-fathers as the lower caste people, especiallySchedule Caste nd Schedule Tribe people are enjoying lot of benefits at the cost of people from general caste.

  6. It was a huge problem a long time ago. It's still there now, but not nearly so much. Kind of like how America was in the 60s and 70s, after MLK. Gandhi helped the situation a lot.
