  1. Here you go - an easy to read summary of the information from the US National Academy of Sciences  You can read it and decide.

  2. It is a scam to make money as Global Warming ,and they were getting in hot water as the green house gas was not there . So they changed it to Climate Change but back it with the same bad data.

  3. Sure, change is inevitable with EVERYTHING.

  4. There is no actual answer to that. Some say temperatures fluctuate some say humans cause it. The global warming idea is a theory, so there is no solid evidence either way.

Al Gore exaggerated big time on the estimated climate effects way above what the already accepted worst scenario. Possible to scare people into action I don't know. I also know that if you zoom in on his graph the relationship between carbon and temperature is not what it seems. The increase in temperature mostly comes after temperature increase but zoomed out enough it looks directly related.

The weather is kind of wack but the real question is why, I don't think people are the big causes. Volcanos put out most carbon. Cows put out way more than people.

    (ADDITION)

For the thumbs-down if you don't believe me about Al Gore look it up.

And what about the Global Cooling scare (30 some years ago I believe) good thing we didn't let them put coal on the polar caps to get more heat huh.

  5. Yes, of course.  The global climate is changing now, has changed in the past & will change in the future.  We don't live in a static universe after all.

Now if you mean  are humans effecting the climate, again the answer is yes.  When any living organisms interact with their environment those organisms cannot help but to cause some changes to that environment.

However, if you asking about AGW (anthropological global warming), the answer is (and the devout are gonna give all sorts of thumbs down on this) nobody but the zealots on either side can give a definitive answer.

While humans are adding greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, those contributions are only 3% of the yearly total (vulcanism is responsible for about 50% of the average yearly contribution (in fact the Pinatubo eruption in the early 90's added more CO2 to the atmosphere that all of the contributions of all humans during the whole of human existance), decaying plant & animal matter adds in most of the rest).

So is that 3% really relevent? Maybe, maybe not.

The basic problem is we have no scientific way to study what the climate would be like today if humanity were still in a pre-industrial state.

  6. Its been changing for 4 billion years, nothing new and nothing we can do about it.

  7. Real, mostly caused by us.

There's TONS of evidence, which is why EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that it's real, and mostly caused by us.

There are a few "skeptics" but the evidence is overwhelming.

  8. The Earth has changed it's face 100's of times before humans even existed and it will change another 100 times after this next change, it is Earth's nature to change, look at how the continents moved, they once were all connected, until years and years they separated into the continents we all know today, they even predict for the continents to collide again someday, weather is the same way it is part of the Earth's nature to change and it will

  9. Rowena is correct.  Change is inevitable and has always occurred especially in climate and related things such as sea levels and ice accumulation

  10. Yes. We are all causing this world's climate to change! We and those cars wasting fuel, littering, those factories letting out those toxic fumes!! We are all in this!

  11. I think it must be. I have a coat in my closet that I am not currently using. I have used it in the past, and I will most likely use it in the future. Must mean that the climate changes.
