  1. It very much depends on where you go to college.  If you go to a poor-quality community college and are a commuter, then it will probably be a lot like high school.  At a better school, instead of having teachers you teach you out of the book they learned from, you will have professors who are involved in investigating the subject matter themselves, which can lead to much more interesting classes.  Also, if you are a resident student instead of a commuter, then there is a whole "campus life" aspect to being at that college that will be very different from anything you experienced in high school.

  2. It is the same it just costs more

  3. Depends on if you go to a S****y one or a halfway decent one.  These days S****y colleges are pretty close to highschools.

Most college life is completely different though.  People are living away from their parents for the first time.  People are surrounded by smarter people than they were in highschool (since the less intelligent people never cared to get into college or never got accepted).  You meet people from different parts of the country.  You get exposed to different cultures that those people brought with them.

As for classes, professors usually either deal with tons of students and don't care about you, or they are the type of people that you actually want to make friends with because they might actually be important to what career you are choosing.  Rules are usually more lenient, classes expect you to study without being asked, and occasionally, you don't have class at 8:00 AM.

Theres more, but college is very much different.

  4. Yes. Definitely.

College is a broader perspective of education. You get more matured and u learn more in college. You get to meet people from various parts of the country. You get to stay in hostel and experience what real friendship is like. You get more freedom in college than what you got in school. You get to spend more time off campus rather than on campus. Its a whole new experience and you got to enjoy it to the core. College life will easily be the best part of anybody's life. So, look forward to more fun. But, dont miss on the studies part.
