Is comic sans a good font to teach preschoolers to write?

I have to teach some preschooler to write their names and I want to print out traceable names. Is comic sans a good font? it's a little funky but otherwise good I think

  1. I say it is a great font to teach preschoolers. When I was in preschool, my teacher taught me to write in this font. Hope this helped :]


  2. use verdana or century gothic, maybe tahoma.  comic sans is a HORRIBLE font

  4. I think that it would be a good font to teach them to read letters with, but to trace a comic sans font might be a little tricky, try maybe a tomaha or verdana font, those are kind of simple.

  5. I don't know about teaching them to write. My son's teacher used it for reading, but used a much more basic font for writing.

  6. The two types of print commonly used to teach handwriting are Zaner-Bloser® and D'Nealian® .

  7. Century gothic is much better to use.  Other than the "I" all of the letters are in perfect handwriting form.

    I use this font for all typed directions, etc.
