Is commondreams.org a reputable site on climate science, or is it a left-wing issue-advocacy website?

Ken I certainly wouldn't argue that, say, CO2Science is a reputable website.

But I've seen commondreams.org cited by some on your side of this debate.

Surely you aren't inferring that a left leaning web-site is any less accurate than a right leaning web-site are you?  They are both pretty much useless to anyone interested in scientific truth.

It doesn't matter if a news/opinion site is liberal, conservative, communist, or anything else. You simply will not get as accurate of information from reading these sites as you will from reading the sites of actual climate science research organizations.

Keep in mind that just because I accept the theory of AGW doesn't mean I'm left (or on anyone's side).  I'm a staunch independent who's voted republican more times than Democrat (during my adult life). I read the scientific literature and that's the only source of my acceptance of AGW.

That's not the worse of it, occasionally you'll see an alarmist denounce NASA, because of a conflict. They play these sites, like they do any opposing view. "Strange brew to say the least."
