  1. it's a mix of both because you are taking easier college classes but still living at home with your parents.


  2. Community college is more like high school I thought because I was still taking remedial courses for math. The reason is because most of the information that you retain from the classroom is from high school, while at the same time learning other information that has never been processed through your brain because you had never learned that information, until now.

    Community College is chalk full of people who are going to be dropping out, and either dont belong in college in the first place, or dont want to be there.

  4. My son said it was just like high school with smoking and grandparents. I suppose now, though, there is no smoking allowed. I found it to be very exciting. It didn't have all the popularity problems that high school had. I went to school, I studied and did my work, and truly enjoyed community (junior college in my day) college. When I got to the four year college the pressure was really on to graduate as soon as I could.
