It occurred to me that condensation, although it seems to be nature-created, really is man-made. Can you really thhink of a material that is not man-made that causes condensation? Glass, fiberglas, even stone and wood walls create this "natural sweat", but is there really a naturally created substance that causes condensation without man's assistance?

  1. As was said, dew on plants.

Then there's rain, condensing upstairs and falling down.

  2. many years ago dinosaurs drank the morning dew off of the leaves is that not condensation?

  3. It isn't the material that causes condensation.  Condensation is simply a film of water droplets that forms on a cold surface when warmer air comes into contact with it. Most any kind of surface, be it natural or man-made, is a candidate for condensation under these conditions.

There are completely different properties of condensation when you are talking Physics or Chemistry.

  4. When you are in areas of high condensation, everything gets covered in water.  Grass is very often covered with moisture in the morning.

  5. Morning dew.
