As a g*y man I would say that shallowness and materialism is the bigger problem, consumerism is actually an all American Ideal

Nah, I don't think it's any more common among g**s than anyone else. g*y culture just happens to be in the media spotlight right now, so there's plenty of money to be made off of the attention.

Stop stereotyping g*y men. As with any group of people, they are diverse, not all g*y men look/act/talk/like the same things.

The naive beliefs that we are what we own and that everything will be better if we just have this one more thing that is out of our reach is a part of the human condition.

g**s are human.

Therefore, we suffer from the same delusion.

I don't think we suffer from it at a higher rate.

However, it has been my observation that g**s are more likely than straights to hang out only with people just like them...so they may be inclined toward more extreme behaviors when those traits are being reinforced within that group of friends.
