  1. Practically everything is unhealthy when carried to extremes

  2. I find it hard to believe that you are having trouble finding literature about high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).  It is very well researched and documented.  It is the reason Americans are obese and getting fatter, especially poor people.  It's addictive and fattening.  Also, it causes us to mass produce corn to the exclusion of almost all other crops.  Read "The Omnivore's Dilemma."

Avoid it.  Avoid it at all costs.  It is how the government is trying to kill the poor.  It's all a big conspiracy to make people fat, immobile and complacent.

  3. Too much of it is bad for you (but what isn't).  I don't see, however, any connection to organic farming.

  4. High fructose corn syrup is the chief cause of obesity in children. It has no nutritive value at all and just builds fat, like the empty calories in booze.

Much of it comes from genetically altered yellow dent corn. It has been modified so that herbicides such as Round-Up or Liberty can be sprayed on the fields for weed control without harming the frankencorn.

  5. corn syrup, especially HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, is pretty much (in my opinion) the downfall of America in health terms.

It is extremely unhealthy and America uses it in almost everything these days.

Personally, I don't eat anything cooked or processed. Only whole, natural, organic, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds... no preservatives, no added sugar, no CORN SYRUP!
