Is cotto margarito a similar fight to hagler hearns?

Both fighters are tough, strong, rugged, and expericned fighters. Both like to come forward, trade punches, i think that this will definately be the fight of the year, cottos body shots and margaritos pressure and punch output will be the ingredients to a great fight. But this fight reminds me of when hearns fought marvin hagler granted they were middleweight but does this fight remind you of it.both guys are going to go in looking for the sensational knockout victory.

I don't think so.

By the time Hagler-Hearns had been announced, both guys were legends and the fight was a blockbuster event on par with any fight in history.

Style-wise the Hagler-Hearns fight was basically most of us waiting for Hagler to bang Hearns outta there.  Of course the pace was surprising....but Hagler winning was a good bet.

With Cotto-Margarito, there will not be the same atmosphere.....no way.  Neither guy is a proven seasoned veteran or even legendary.  Both guys are dangerous......but there will  not be the same anticipation of an overwhelming favorite like when Hagler loomed large.

Sure...the match up looks good, but not on par with Hagler-Hearns.  

I am sure that these guys are not going to throw caution to the wind like Hearns did.
