It is usually made from fish, most likely made of Alaska Pollock. Also called Walleye Pollock, Snow Cod, or Whiting.

If you can eat fish, you can eat imitation crab.  No, a vegan would not eat imitation crab.

It's actually fish, just not crab. So if you were a vegan, you wouldn't eat it

Well it is still fish even if it is fake crab.  If you look at the ingredients, it is made from pollock which is fish.

Most imitation crab is made from another kind of sea creature, so vegans would most definitely not eat it (and nor would vegetarians).

It is made out of Pollock which is fish... so no a vegan wouldn't eat it.
