  1. 60% Batsman's Game

    40% Bowler's Game.

  2. IPL is dominated by bowlers and bowling allronders and the orange cap, price ,every thing is in favor of batsmen but bowlers have ruled DLF IPL.

  3. both!

b'coz when in olden times the britishers played cricket in their colonies, the britishers used to bat and the people of the colony used to only bowl and field and so obviously, britishers got more importance and hence even today batsmen are given more importance!

  4. batsman

  5. of what the recent change of events been it looks very batsmen dominated but true i would want to still say for bowlers or for batsmen the real test is test cricket

    thats what

  6. Cricket is neither batsman's nor bowler's but skillful people's .If you have presence of mind you can win the game

  7. well cricket fans preger batsmen to a bowler as a batsmen is more entertaining to watch also i dnt think cricket is a batsmen or a bowlers game because its more of a fielders game want to know y?? because who are stopping the batsmen from scoring runs?? fielders who help bowlers get wickets?? fielders by catching if it seems lyk a batsmen is impossible to get out the best chance is running that batsmen out soooo yeah basically its won through fielding lyk the old cricket saying CATCHES WIN MATCHES

  8. it "s bowlers game bcz i m a good bowler

  9. Both.

A batsman can bat only if bowler bowls.

But I know that is not the Q. IPL shows it is all about batting.

The orange cap is for the best batsman.

So it boils down to the batsman. We hardly recognise the bowler even for MOM.

Cannot see the face of the Cricketer in Avatar.

  10. Both

  11. agreed..

    more in favour of batsmens

  12. cricket i a batsman's game! for all reasons- for a common man!

*when decisions are to be made by the umpairs batsmen are given more preference and not the bowler!

*batsmen makes it interesting 'coz whats there if the batsman don't hit a ball and just leaves it!

*the batsmen needs more quality than a bowler!

*bowling needs just some physical fitness! if i am fit i can bowl the way brett lee does it!

*when a catch is taken its not the bowler's achievement!

*its the fielder who took it and it was a mistake by the batsman! (*not that the bowler set the field and bowled according to that!*)

thats the way people see the game and how can we say its not a batsman's game!

its the common people who watches the game and the sponsors and media who made it a batsman's game and not the players or critics or experts! and they just think that the game is all about striking the ball hard and taking runs! thats why t20's got this much fan base!

  13. bowler's

  14. It is like asking which is first- egg or chick?

In cricket bowler bowls the ball to a bastsmen.

  15. it depends on the pitch and the quality of the player(s). if the game is being played on a pitch with a lot of turn, then the bowlers are favored. if the pitch is flat, the batsmen are favored..

  16. its always a both side game exept in t20 type of game.So many bowlers even part-time bowlers have got MOM award for their exellence in bowling

  17. It depends on mode of the game. A Test match cricket gives equal chances to both batsmen and bowlers.

A 50 overs one-day match is a bit tilted towards batsmen because the aim is to score as much runs as possible in limited time and overs.

and the latest 20-20 match is definitely a batsmens's game. there is no time to settle down or look for bookish shots for runs. Free-hit concept after a NO-BALL is another set-back for a bowler. I think this mode of cricket is all about hits and runs not much for bowlers unless pitch favours them.....
