That is,which could cause the player a very big injury or death?

Many cricketers have died & many got injured.

So,is cricket most dangerous sport?

no it definately isnt.

what about soccer! dirty tackles could claim one's life

and rugby. think about a 70 kilo guy falling on you, another 70 kilo guy on him and so on. can you survive? it's nothing as compared to a 1 kilo ball falling in your palm!

plus! if some player injures the other, he is banned/fined. (rules made by the icc). for example, just before the T20 world cup, shoiab akhtar (of pakistan) smacked teammate mohammad asif wih a bat. he was banned for the tournament.

bhajji slapped sreesanth and was banned for 11 T20s and 5ODIs! howazat! and he also loses a lot of money. see, even hitting someone costs you crores of rupees in cricket

No cricket is not dangerous. if you ae a batsmen you are basically padded from head to toe.

High contact sports like rugby and AFL are extremely dangerous and there is injuries almost every match.

no becaue now helmets are worn while batting and standing up to the stumps keepin the head is protected. The worst that can happen is you get a bruse by being hit.
