Ok I know several people in their late 20'a and early 30's who buy into all kinds of things. Like paying 400 bucks to see an old band like Kiss. Can't even name 10 songs of theirs. Or can't tell you what they like about a particular group or a film. Besides oh it's cool. Nothing about say a bands songwriting. Or a films narrative acting, pacing etc.

And why are people saying things on their silly myspace profiles like "reading sucks" in the books section. I've seen grown ups do this.

And these same people watch lame reality shows. Which one can tell at a glance are staged and /or edited for maximum impact. Then you have dumb things like the overuse of tanning beds, eating too much fast food, drinking too much etc . All justified by spending a half hour on an elliptical at a slow pace?

Are we becoming like the film Idiocracy?

  1. if people want to watch reality shows and believe its not staged or edited then who am i to stop them spending their money on voting

i would agree that so many people are brainwashed or try desperately hard to be something or somebody they are not

it would be a boring world if we were all the same but i would agree there are many stupid judgmental people around
