Croatia is a spectacularly beautiful country, and an excellent vacation spot. It's colorful, interesting, chock-full of history & wonder, has a splendid Mediterranean climate and is just mesmerizing. Croatians are really lovely, hospitable people, and we had such an awesome experience there.  It's one of my fav places in the world, actually. Hemingway once described Dubrovnik as "paradise on earth," and the description was apt. It's like none other......

There is a very good reason why the travel publication Lonely Planet picked Croatia as the number one destination in the world in recent years!

It's also one of the more affordable places in Europe right now!

It sure is, although it would depend on what kind of vacation do you prefer. If a vacation by the sea with swimming, watersports, , sailing, diving, etc. is your kind of vacation, you will like it. There are many different places throughout Croatia, I personally prefer Dalmatia.

Yes. One of the best in the world. It is conveniently located on the Jadransko More (Adriatic Sea). It has plenty of natural wonders such as Plitvice. The most beautiful spot hands down is Istra. It has everything you need in a vacation. But I prefer Dalmacija over anything in the world. But I am being a bit biased *couch*I'm Dalmatian *cough*. You must visit the islands. There are many natural wonders to be seen. But make sure you eat freshly roasted lamb and pig. Also, eat fish when you're on the coast. Best fish in the world comes from Croatia. Oh, and there's this special cheese (I forgot what it's called), you HAVE to eat it. It is goat cheese. It is the best cheese I've ever had. It only goes well with home-made wine and crackers. There's another cheese called "Zdenka," but it isn't the cheese I'm originally talking about. "Zdenka" is also amazing! Have fun in Cro!
