Is crunch on guitar amp that same thing as gain

i was looking at amps and found an amp that doesn't have a k**b marked gain, but it does a k**b marked crunch, i figured it was just another name for gain, but wanted to double check.

Yeah it basically means distorted sounds the same way that Gain does.
