Is cryptozoology a nice thing?

  1. Yes and no.

    Yes because it is interesting to figure out and look for pictures of mysterious creatures

    No because you tend to get frightened since they are extremely enigmatic and grotesque.


  2. Not sure what you mean by 'a nice thing.' Is cryptozoology something that might capture the interest of the average person? Sure! A lot of laypersons are interested in the Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot, etc. But as someone already said, cryptozoology is not respected as a vaild science among scientists. That's not to say that science can't play a role though - just look at the recent Texas Chupacabra case - it's one example of how science can be used to dispel certain myths and legends that people seem to want to believe in.

  3. I've always enjoyed cryptozoology. There have been some success stories, where some creatures have been discovered, making it somewhat valid. However, in general, it is not much of a science.
