  1. I think that you didn't like geography in school nor watch the news. How sad.

No, We are not part of the USA. Just where do you get your information ? They stole your money

And officer, Cuba is our country and  that is OUR business.

We don't want to be a state of another country, but we have been a Russian puppet for 40 years   . You forgot to mention that

Hey, Beardo, thanks for the correction. I was a little off. You are right. I didn't think anyone was keeping track of the dates.

Now I see that I can relay on you for accuracy. It makes no big difference some years more or less, but we must be precise

I should have said 30something instead of 40 years. I shall try to keep the dates

  2. Cuba, Eh no. Pueto Rico, yes.

  3. Cuba is a separate country.Puerto Rico is a US territory.

  4. I heard it told that one of the things that used to annoy the Soviets was that whenever Castro did anything, the US would assume that he was acting on Moscow's orders, when often he would be acting independently.

In any event, it must be at least 16 years since anyone could really argue that Cuba was a Russian puppet (which sadly indicates how out of date is some of the information that is being posted here.)

  5. Just where do come from ? I am totally confused

Officer, we have been a Russian colony for 40 years. That is much, much worse

  6. Cuba is not part of the US. It stands all on its own. Puerto Rico is a self-governing unincorporated territory of the United States.

  7. Americans wish cuba was a state.  That will thankfully never happen.

  8. Cuba is a sovereign country. The inconvenience is that is not democratic, but governed by a comunist dictatorship

But, that is not part of your question

  9. No, we are not part of the USA. We obtained our independence from Spain and declare it in 1902
