  1. wow..... that was maybe the least informed post ive ever read in my life... citing harvard and yale doesnt make you sound smarter.... there are no cages for dairy cows..... anywhere..... ever. Studies may have proven that milk doesnt prevent osteoporosis, and although milkl does contain fat, its been proven that children who drink higher amounts of milk are in fact, in general skinnier. As far as the milking machines hurting the cows, if they were not milked, they would at first feel extreme pain as their udder filled up with milk, heats up, and allows bacteria to fluorish and harm the cow. Milking cows helps them, early in lactation (after calving) the cow needs to be milked to simulate the calf being around, if the calf is left with its mother, it is more likely to become sick from numerous diseases it can contract from being in the same pen as the mother. Dairy farmers do everything they can to ensure cows are happy and comfortable, after all a comfortable cow makes more milk and in the long term makes the farmer more money. I understand your position of being a vegan for health reasons, but you know what the alternative is, all the cows dying... Dairy farming is an extremely noble trade and you are besmirching its reputation with urban legends and flat out lies.
