Unlikely. There is an offer from two French clubs, with the offer from Toulouse being worth around 750,000 pounds, if rumours are correct. Unless Leinster is willing to offer either more money or better conditions, he'll probably sign with Toulouse, or possible Toulon, if Toulouse misses out.

I doubt it, no disrespect to Leinster but I don't think he'd go there when he can earn 3 times as much money in France. I heard it's a bidding war between Toulouse and Stade Francais. Besides Leinster have Contepomi who is also World Class, no need for Carter.

If he isn't playing in nz, I think, it is highly likely that he'll be playing for toulouse (750000 pound) buy. If other clubs offer more than that, obviously thats where he'll go but as far as I know, Toulouse has the highest offer so far.

However, in saying that, this is april, its still long way away, NZRU could try out other options such as maximising his revenue through endorsements, sponsorship and other avenues outside rugby. Could be something he always wanted. E.g, Carl Hayman asked the NZRU to buy him a farm, NZRU refused so he left. NZRU could relax its rulings and do such favours in the hope to keep them in nz. NZRU needs to fix this problem up fast as there are so many players that are off contract this year

On the other hand, at the end of the day, its carters decision and I wish him all the best in the path he chooses to take. I'd say he'll be leaving this year in following of what Luke McAlister is doing and returning later on for the 2011 RWC.

most defenatly not, it is most likely that he is going to troluse althought acording to the alcland morning herald he has been having talks with the welsh side neath/ swansea ospreys!!!

There are many rumours going around at the moment about where DC will  play next season, France, Ireland and also Cardiff Blues, so best wait and see until he signs the dotted Line I guess!
