Is dancing a sport??

Does anyone think that competitive dance is a sport?

Definitely yes. Sport burns calories, and so does dancing.

yes..competitive dancing and competitive cheer leading is a sport..in my personal opinion.

Yes!! I've been dancing for 10 years taking all kinds of dance from ballet to hip hop. I dance competitively and put in around 10 hours of dance a week in the studio. Plus at least 4 hours a week at home. My dance friends and I hate it when people say dancing isn't a sport. We work just as hard as any kids playing basketball or football at school.
