  1. I'd hope not, but if his knee isn't completely good by the end of next season, he may as well. He loves the bronco's too much to keep them disadvantaged paying 500k a season for someone who can't get on the field. Atleast if he whent to England he would get 1mil a season for being broken.

  2. Probably.

He's guaranteed to stay there for 2009 (confirmed today), and by the end of that he'll be 32, which is pretty old for league.

He's not going to command anywhere near as much money as he does on his current contract (Folau, a large reason).

Lockyer is easily my favourite player (ever!), but he does have a dickey knee now, so it might be best for both party's if he takes off for 2010 chasing a bit of cash.

Good luck to him either way!

  3. i fu.kin hope not

  4. really hope not

  5. i hope not.he will be employed by the broncos somewhere   the line or be employed by the qrl or arl or  nrl.gorden tallis retired from nrl without playing england.why should he go england for.he have such knowledge of the game.oneday he will be coaching somewhere.junior game or the top grade.

  6. dude isnt he going to be like ******* 35 when his contract ends?? imo thats a S****y way to end your career by going to the UK, might as well start what you finish, and there is no point for him being greedy he already gets enough.

  7. possibly..

  8. Why not?.....that's where the money is, and like someone before me said, he is at the end of his playing career......I say, take the money and run!

  9. i think he is, nothing wrong with it, all nrl players(well most) take one last stint in the UK for one final paycheck.

  10. It all depends on his knee, he will prob end up not playing this season much by the time he gets his knee better so that may help him prolong career in NRL with Broncos. He doesn't need to go to England, he has nothing left to prove. He should finsih like Webcke did with the Broncos.
