Is data in my comp unsecure? since the new comp engineer used some cds prob, is it possible?

The problem is that I feel my data is no longer secure and accessible in some way to tht comp engineer. I do not know too deeply abt computer's technical details.

Computer Engineer/technicians use different tools to diagnose & troubleshoot problems.Optical media(CD diagnostic tools) are a vital part of a engineer/technician.So, dissecting your System/Operating System in ways not familiar with a normal user seems normal & It does not seem to pose a threat to compromise your system as long as the engineer/technician has a valid license/Certification to do so & is affiliated to some company or hardware vendor that under take such task............
