i know david as a verry-good claycourt player, and a good hardcourt player. he doesen't have a great serve, but he have a great return.

Today he reach the first Grasscourt final beating Del potro in Den bosch.

I don't know very much how he can play on grass, beacuse the season is too short, and i'v never have the oportunity to watch him playng on TV, and my question is: does he plays good on grass?

He plays Sergiy Stakhovsky in wimbledon first round. and i hope he goes far, mabye in quarter-final

  1. I wouldn't say he's a very good grass court player. Your right, his serve isn't the best out there, and he makes A LOT of mistakes. I don't think he will get too far into Wimbledon.

  2. David Ferrer and Davydenko got over-rated seedings this year. Ferrer may win the Ordina open this weekend and so he can be excused somewhat for his super high seeding on grass. But Davydenko being seeded higher than Roddick is a travesty. The Russian is consistently good but not great. He beats players he is supposed to beat. But he loses to those he is supposed to lose in the majors! I doubt either will see the quarterfinals. And if they did somehow make it there, they will consider it a crowning achivement and go away meekly...

  3. No! His game is not really suited for grass courts he is a much better hardcourt and claycourt player :) ! I like Ferrer though i hope he does well :P but doubt it.

  4. no.-
