David has been plagued with manager and promoter issues that has kept him inactive and unhappy. With the clock ticking on his career inactivity and retirement can sometimes mean the same thing.

I think about him a lot, too! Heavyweight division could use a healthy in shape David Tua right now.

he is as good as retired.  I do not think we will see him fight again.  Even if he could sort out the personal and professional issues, his body just isn't up to it.
