    I know that its called Death Valley because people die because of the heat there.

    Its so hot because it is heaps far under sea level.

  6. No the only reason its called death vally is becasue i think there's a lot of tornadoes there. And the temp.  mostly only reaches 30Celcus.

  7. Generally speaking, yes it is. It has the hottest summer average temps in the northern hemisphere and the highest normal temp. The highest recorded temp was 134 degrees F at furnace creek (aka Greenland Ranch) which is located entirely inside Death Valley. The average max temp is summer is 114 F.  So I don't think you people have really been to places this consistently hot.
