  1. I've always hated dell. Used to use them, still have to in the office. But at home I now use Sony products...find them much more reliable. I've had this laptop for a year now and is still runs smoothly. Have a 30" monitor for my desktop from Sony and the image unbeatable.

  2. Is it the product, or the owner, that's the problem?  You say you've broken your screen by holding it wrong.

Any appliance is only able to give its best if you respect, and don't abuse it!

I've owned Dell stuff for over 15 years without so much as a hiccup. My only complaint against Dell is their lousy call centres that keep you waiting for ages before you get to speak to a person.  Equipment wise, I've never had a single complaint!

  3. If you buy from dell, the printers and accessories are made to break to make money.  The screens are generally good quality if you are not dropping them...  Anyway, when buying a printer go with an HP or a LEXMARK.  Both are good brands but I like LEXMARK a little better.  Other than accessories, Dell makes good products (computers).

  5. I think you have already answered your own question

  6. If you've had problems with Dell, don't buy them anymore. Sell all your Dell products right away.

I suggest you switch your computing needs to HP or Acer.

I've had HP products for 4 years now and not a single problem or defect in any.

I know a few people who deal with Acer and they say its okay as long as you don't buy the cheap ones.
