  1. Did you let your child type this question for you?!

The grammar suggests YES you did...

  2. No THERE (not der) isn't - a seat is a seat is a seat regardless of what is sitting in it / or being transported.

You don't have to pay for children small enough to be carried (babe in arms).

  3. No there is not until your child is 11.  You simply ask the man at the gate to let you through and swipe your oyster on the reader as you go through.  An 11-16 year old needs an Oyster with a photocard even for the buses.  An under 11 may need a photocard if they travel on their own without an adult.

What is der by the way?  is it there?

  4. yes there is

children can go free on the london underground during weekends as well, which is nice (they have to be with an adult though)

  5. under 16's travel free on London Transport so they don't need a ticket

however 11 to 16 year olds have to have an Oyster photocard to prove their age ... see

    http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/faresandti...

16 to 18 year olds can also get free travel if they are students ... see the information on the same page above

  6. Since the begining of June 11 to 16 year olds have to have an "Oyster Photo Card" or pay the adult fare. I think there is an Oyster card for 5 to 10 year olds useful if they might be mistaken for older. Under fives go free travelling with an adult.
