for me i lyk chemistry and i wanted to study chemical engineering butta ma parents forced me 2 study telecommunication, i kno it has bright future and da work demands n dis field z very ,buta i dont feel pleased or motivated n my study...

Well, you can always get a graduate degree in chemical engineering - I'm sure some of the topics you studied as a telecommunications major will serve as a foundation for your science studies. Graduate programs usually provide funds and assistantships for bright students, so in this case, parental financial support will not be necessary and you can pursue your vocation in life.
